‘Cherab Moves’ supports families with special needs kids relocating anywhere in the United States. Here at the Cherab Foundation, we know a thing or two about moving with special needs kids. Cherab Moves makes moving easy and accessible for special needs families by:
- Providing support
- Answering questions
- Offering valuable tips
- Helping to find Realtors knowledgeable in the specific needs of your family.
- All for free!!
*Cherab Moves is a 100% free referral service for special needs families (or for friends & family), and will help support the nonprofit Cherab Foundation by donating a percentage of the Realtor’s commission back to the Cherab Foundation.
Cherab Moves Advisory Board
Lisa Geng is the co-author of The Late Talker and has been outreaching in support of the special needs population since 2000 when she founded the all-volunteer 501C3 nonprofit The Cherab Foundation. Lisa’s, now grown, sons were each diagnosed with various special needs including but not limited to apraxia, dyspraxia, ADHD, CAPD, hypotonia, and sensory processing disorder. Having moved from New Jersey to Florida when they were still young, Lisa not only understands special needs but the frustrations and complications of moving,, switching school systems, therapists, IEPs, doctors, learning Medicaid regulations, etc. Lisa has an active Real Estate license and continues to serve as President of The Cherab Foundation.
Jolie Abreu has served as Vice-President of the 501C3 nonprofit Cherab Foundation for the past 7 years bringing with her an impressive background in nonprofit organization, public relations, and marketing. Jolie has been an active realtor for the past 20 years and is currently licensed in Florida and Michigan. Jolie and her family relocated from Florida to Georgia and then Michigan with a young child. Jolie is an expert on making moves as smooth and simple as possible.
